Food. It is an integral part of all of our lives and what we eat is governed by personal, cultural and global forces. We need it to survive and it has a profound impact on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Having said this, most of us are pretty detached from where our food comes from and how it affects us....
Food and Health. Food influences us at a cellular level: Your body is made out of what you digest and absorb. Every mouthful you eat sends a particular message to your body either helping or hindering your daily functioning; your energy, your mood, your immunity, your concentration or your physique.
Food and Yoga. On a personal level yoga encourages us to become more aware of what is happening in our bodies and our minds. Quite naturally therefore we become more sensitive to what we eat and drink and how it affects us. It is so easy to rush through the day on automatic pilot, constantly looking ahead at what we have to do next, and leaving what we are going to eat to the last minute often meaning we go for convenience over nourishment.
What you will gain from the holiday experience?
Delicious food: With us you will enjoy a delicious selection of vegetarian food: A taste extravaganza which not only delights the taste buds but the body too. Each dish will come with an explanation of how it is benefitting you and how you can make it at home.

These interactive workshops are a great way to increase your knowledge about nutrition and ask any burning questions you have on the topic.
Practical tips on eating to nourish your body: As a part of the workshops we will be exploring realistic and sustainable ways that you can convert what you know you could be doing to actually implementing ways of doing it. For instance, finding alternatives for foods or drinks that you know are hindering your path to vibrant health or introducing a new way of preparing and planning meals.
A free half hour consultation with a Nutritional Therapist: An opportunity to discuss any health goals you may have with a qualified nutritional professional. The advice will provide an overview of how you can address your goals and what steps you may want to take in the future.
An information pack to take away with you: I have found in the past that I often leave a workshop full of good intentions only to revert back to old patterns a few days later. So I have devised a pack of goodies that will hopefully help you to continue with your specific goals. The pack will include:
